Are you a student at the University of Granada looking for an international professional experience in a world-class educational setting? The British School of Brussels (BSB) is looking for an enthusiastic and committed individual to join our Modern Foreign Languages Faculty in Tervuren (Brussels).

Role Description
The main role of the post holder is to support Spanish as a Foreign Language Teachers within the Secondary School (students aged 11 to 18). You will play a key role in preparing students for high-stakes exams such as (I)GCSE, A Levels, and the IB Diploma.
Your key responsibilities:

Oral Proficiency: Work with small groups or 1-to-1 to improve speaking skills and build student confidence.

Resource Creation: Prepare fun, interactive, and engaging resources for lessons and displays.

Extracurricular Support: Assist with lunchtime or after-school clubs (e.g., Spanish conversation, cultural club, short story club).

Academic Support: Mark small assignments, support cover lessons, and assist with school language trips.
Working Hours:

Total: 37.5 hours/week (Full-time).

Contact time: Minimum 20 hours/week.

Planning: +/- 15 hours/week for preparation.
Requirements
Essential:
-
Language: B2 / C1 English level (the working language of the school).

IT Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.

Soft Skills: A positive attitude, flexibility, and the ability to work independently using your own initiative.

Values: An open-minded approach to different cultures and a passion for building strong relationships with young people.
Desirable:

Previous experience working with young people.

Ability to speak other languages.
