International Consultant -Provide Technical Guidance to the Implementation of the National Study on Violence Against Children
The main objective of this consultancy is to provide technical guidance to the design, implementation, and analysis of the national study on violence against children that aims at assessing the magnitude, incidence, causes and consequences of various types of violence against children (qualitative and quantitative). The consultant should ensure that the study adheres to highest standards for research and appropriate tools are used to measure the violence situation at homes, schools and care systems, workplaces and the community and that the tools captures all types of Violence against children including emotional and physical abuse, neglect or negligent treatment, sexual exploitation and abuse, bullying and online bullying and sexual exploitation. Based on the analysis of results, ensure that the study’s recommendations are adequate for the improvement of legislation, policy and programmes relating to the prevention and responses to violence against children.

International Consultancy – Child Protection Roster
UNICEF Pacific Multi-Country Office is establishing a roster of international Consultants to support the implementation of its Child Protection Programme in the following Pacific Island Countries and Territories: Cook Islands, Fiji, Kiribati, Marshall Islands (Republic of), Micronesia (Federated States of), Nauru, Niue, Palau, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tokelau, Tonga, Tuvalu, Vanuatu. Assignments will be remote, in-country or a combination of home-based and in-country, depending on COVID-19 travel restrictions, and may range from one to eleven months. Required areas of expertise include: child protection policies; child protection social services; child protection in education; child protection in health; child protection social and behaviour change (including engagement with communities, faiths, social and other media, adolescents); child protection in emergencies; child protection legislation; birth registration; child justice; social welfare; mental health and psychosocial support.
