WE ARE HIRING 10 RESEARCHERS

CIRCOPAV is a Doctoral Training Network that aims to provide high-level international, inter-disciplinary and inter-sectorial and training to 10 doctoral candidates to achieve Circular and Connected Pavements for carbon-neutral digital roads.

The project will combine the transportation, construction engineering, sustainability, electronics and data science sectors to create a new generation of creative, entrepreneurial and innovative leaders for the next generation of roads.

We are looking for excellent candidates with MSc from civil or environmental engineering, material science or similar fields. The researchers will be employed at Universidad de Granada (Mayca Rubio), Università degli Studi di Parma (Gabriele Tebaldi), Stellenbosch University (Kim Jenkins), Ecole nationale des Travaux publics de l’Etat (Salvatore Mangiafico, Sauzeat Cedric), Technische Universität Braunschweig (Michael P. Wistuba) and Eiffage (Simon POUGET, Flavien Geisler).

The estimated starting date is 1st of February 2023 for a duration of 3 years.

Regarding salary, two main allowances will be paid:
1. Living allowance*: 3400 €, with a country correction coefficient.
2. Mobility allowance*: 600 €
*Minus all compulsory deductions under national legislation.
