Requisitos

Brepols Publishers, a specialized international academic publisher in the Humanities , is seeking students or recent graduates from the University of Granada to join their team in Turnhout, Belgium.

📝 Position: Digital Humanities Intern

This is a unique opportunity to gain experience in the development of renowned digital applications. Your core responsibilities will include:

• Checking metadata and assessing the quality of data extraction software.
• Working closely with a team of bibliographic editors.
• Supporting the development of digital applications within the Humanities.

🎓 Candidate Profile

• Qualifications: Currently enrolled students or recent graduates with a background in Philology, History, Philosophy, Languages and Literature, or related fields.
• Language Skills: Very good command of English (written and spoken). Knowledge of other European languages is an advantage.
• Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with academic citation styles.
• Personal Attributes: Ability to work accurately, methodically, and effectively within a team. Editorial or proofreading experience is a plus.

💰 Internship Conditions

• Duration: Between 4 and 12 months.
• Start Date: On a rolling basis; the specific date will be determined with the selected candidate.
• Location: Turnhout, Belgium.
• Accommodation: Brepols provides free accommodation in student room rentals.
• Financials: No direct financial compensation is provided by the company. The candidate must be awarded or intend to apply for an Erasmus+ scholarship (e.g., via UGR).
• Mentoring: On-the-job mentoring is included.
