- A completed Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
-Relevant internship or several years of work experience in the field of heavy mechanical engineering.
-Analytical, enterprising, proactive, communicative, critical and accurate.
-Experience with SolidEdge and Autocad 3D: Making 3D models / drawings in SolidEdge or AutoCad; elaboration of designs in basic or detail design; support to project team; knowledge of cranes and/or heavy equipment is a plus.
-Good knowledge of the English language.
As a Mechanical Engineer you are mainly involved in 3D modelling, elaboration and detailing of various heavy mechanical/dynamically loaded structures. You do this for constructions and lifting systems for the (Offshore) Wind industry. You are part of a project team in which an entire project will be prepared and executed. You take on challenges of optimal parametric and associative modelling in 3D in order to respond to possible changes later in the project. The diversity of the projects is great and the durations of the projects can vary from a few weeks up to a half year. Making 3D models / drawings in SolidEdge or AutoCad. Elaboration of designs in basic or detail design. Support to project team. Analysing and modelling of designs. Challenge fellow engineers.
