Training in the workplace environment ensures that the trainee will acquire skills for a future career in the hospitality industry. The trainee will develop skills through practical work experience and exposure to the operation of an American hotel front desk learning the check in, check out procedures and providing service in a friendly and professional manner.
Tasks: 1. Be able to verify reservations. 2. Know how and where to post all charges. 3. Knowledge of hotel rates and discounts. 4. Know and follow cash handling procedures, properly handle checks and credit cards received from the guest for payment of hotel charges in accordance with hotel’s accounting and credit card policies and procedures. 5. Learn to resolve customer service problems responding properly to irritated or angry guests. 6. Develop interdepartmental communication skills. 7. Know safety and accident prevention procedures.
-La contratación se hará bajo la visa de intercambio J1 para el programa de internship hacia los EE.UU. (12 Meses).
